Ministerial Qualifications

To qualify for SSCE’s ministerial program, candidates must:

  • Be baptized by full immersion.

  • Be filled with the Holy Spirit, evidenced by speaking in tongues.

  • Have affirmation of a ministry calling.

  • Submit a completed application with the required documents.

  • Complete the SSCE’s course of study and be approved by the Educational Committee.

  • Minors must have parental consent to enroll.

Program Requirements

  • Ministers-in-training must complete a mandatory internship and a tailored curriculum.

  • Students without an SSCE associate degree must take 15 prerequisite courses at $35 per course, covering registration and materials (books not included).

  • Out-of-pocket expenses include black clergy attire and a black collar shirt for advanced students.

Technology Requirements
Students must have access to a computer with internet and email, and be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher). If not, they must complete a basic computer course at an additional cost.

Program Expectations

  • Students are accountable to a mentor assigned by the Educational Committee for at least one year (up to two years if needed). Elevation is not guaranteed after one year and depends on qualifications and spiritual maturity.

  • Active participation in supervised preaching, teaching, or other ministry activities is required.

  • Students must meet attendance, growth, and lifestyle standards; those who fail will not advance, and refunds will not be issued.

Additional Information

  • Elevation is granted by the Apostle, guided by the Holy Spirit, and based on demonstrated spiritual maturity. Extended internships may be required at no additional cost, though students must purchase any extra study materials.

This program is for those committed to serious spiritual growth and ministry preparation. Automatic licensing or ordination is not guaranteed.

 

Apostolic School of Ministry & Ministers-in-Training Program

Ministerial Qualifications

To qualify for enrollment in the SSCE Ministerial Training Program, candidates must demonstrate both spiritual readiness and academic commitment. Applicants must:

  1. Be baptized by full immersion in water.

  2. Be filled with the Holy Spirit, evidenced by speaking in tongues.

  3. Have clear affirmation of a ministry calling from pastoral leadership or spiritual oversight.

  4. Submit a completed application with all required supporting documentation.

  5. Complete SSCE’s course of study and receive final approval from the Educational Committee.

  6. Minors seeking enrollment must submit written parental consent.

Please note: Meeting admission criteria does not guarantee immediate elevation or ordination. Advancement is based on maturity, accountability, and evidence of spiritual growth.

Program Requirements

Students enrolled in the Ministers-in-Training Program must complete:

  • A mandatory internship supervised by SSCE leadership.

  • A tailored curriculum designed to prepare each student for active ministry service.

  • A minimum one-year mentorship under an assigned faculty mentor (may extend up to two years as needed).

 

Prerequisite Courses

Students who have not earned an Associate Degree through SSCE are required to complete 15 foundational courses at $150 per course.
This fee includes registration and course materials.

Textbooks are purchased separately and are not included in the course fee.

Out-of-Pocket Expenses

Students are responsible for purchasing:

  • Black clergy attire (required for official functions).

  • Black clergy collar shirt (required for advanced students).

  • All assigned textbooks and study materials.

 

Technology Requirements

Students must have access to a computer with internet connectivity and an active email account.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher) is required.
Students lacking computer proficiency must enroll in a basic computer course at an additional cost before or during their first semester.

Program Expectations

  • Students are accountable to their assigned mentor for the duration of the program.

  • Elevation is not automatic after the first year and will be determined by the Educational Committee based on spiritual growth, maturity, and consistent participation.

  • Students must actively engage in preaching, teaching, or other supervised ministry activities throughout their training.

  • Students must meet attendance, performance, and lifestyle standards. Those failing to meet expectations will not advance, and refunds will not be issued.

Licensing or ordination is not granted automatically upon course completion. Elevation is determined by the Apostle under the direction of the Holy Spirit, based on demonstrated spiritual growth, maturity, and readiness for ministry.

Additional Information

  • Graduation Fee: $125 (ceremony expenses not included).

  • Extended Internship:
    If additional internship time is required for spiritual or leadership development, it will be provided at no additional tuition cost. However, students are responsible for purchasing any additional study materials required.

  • Refund Policy:
    SSCE maintains a strict no-refund policy for students who fail to meet academic, attendance, or conduct requirements.

Spiritual Integrity Statement

The SSCE Ministerial Training Program is designed for individuals who are serious about spiritual growth, personal transformation, and Kingdom service.
Elevation, licensing, or ordination is not a right—it is a sacred responsibility granted by the Apostle through the leading of the Holy Spirit.
